Neue Dringlichkeit (nD) is a Zurich-based art and performance collective. Within their work they perform a shift between the borders of arts, politics and life. In alternating constellations they develop workshops, interventions, festivals, theatre productions and research projects. Neue Dringlichkeit evolved during a spontaneous art festival against xenophobia in Switzerland in 2010 at the Department for Performance Art and Film at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK). Major themes in the recent years were racism in Switzerland, the Arab Spring, Occupy, global capitalism, the conflict between Israel and Palerstine, gender equalisty and digital self-determination. Their works have been shown at ifa-Gallery, Stuttgart (2016); Venice Biennale of Architecture (2014); Favoriten Theater Festival, Dortmund (2014); Gessnerallee Zürich, among others.
