Geumhyung Jeong is a video and performance artist whose work focuses on the tension between the female body and machinery. Jeong embraces an intense, confrontational conversation about the body and the ways in which one might reject or mutate public expectations around it. Her work was featured in the 2015 New Museum Triennial in New York and she has performed at Zürcher Theater Spektakel, Switzerland; Malta Festival, Poznań, Poland; SPIEL ART Festival, Munich; ImpulsTanz Festival, Vienna, and iDans Festival, Istanbul, among others.
